Life Science Education in Era of Synthetic Biology: Future Directions, Opportunities, and Challenges

I had the fantastic opportunity to share my perspectives about synthetic biology and what I view as important directions for its future in education. This is my primary research area and it is motivated by my concerns for the ways biotechnologies continue to impact society and the planet. Fundamentally, I believe we are at an important point of inflection where we can equip future generations with the technical and social know how to implement these technologies and steward the planet safely and responsibly.
